Bean Experiment
On the 26th of August 2016 we photographed and cut apart a bean seed that has been growing for 2 weeks. When we dissected the bean and looked at it underneath the microscope. I saw the nearly transparent embryo growing inside. Inside the plant the cotyledon feeds the plant as it grows while outside the bean the seed coat is protecting it with a guarding layer.
